IHG Launches Cyber Sale, At Least 20% Off And Bigger Discounts For Black Friday/Cyber Monday

IHG hotels – Kimpton, Holiday Inn, Intercontinental, and related brands – has launched a Cyber Sale running through December 17th, with extra discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up.

  • Save at least 20% – versus best flexible rate, so only incrementally better than advance purchase rates – for stays November 14 through May 31, 2020.

  • These rates stack with IHG’s bonus offer up to quadruple points.

  • For Black Friday and Cyber Money they’ll be discounting an additional 5% – 10%.

The sale applies to all brands worldwide. Sale rates are prepaid, non-refundable, and not valid at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

The Cyber Sale promotion is valid only for bookings made from November 11, 2019 through December 17, 2019 using the “Cyber Sale” & “Cyber Sale – IHG® Rewards Club Member Rate” rate(s). All bookings must be consumed by May 31, 2020 at participating IHG® hotels and resorts. The discount is up to 20% off the Best Flexible Rate with an additional 5% discount for IHG® Rewards Club members. Booking requires non-refundable, full pre-payment for the entire stay at the time of booking. Advance purchase requirements and discount vary by hotel. Blackout dates apply and rooms are subject to availability. Certain room types may be excluded from the promotion. Hotel policy varies in regard to the minimum length of stay required and number of guests allowed per room. Not applicable with other discounted rate promotions. Not applicable to group bookings.   1. Problem is they are “prepaid, non-refundable” and good the stay dates are not the best. I did change my Thanksgiving holiday reservation, saved me $40+ but I know I will be there unless there is a blizzard. Other wise who travels much during this time?

  2. So Gary, are you required to wait until IHG puts out a press release? I only got an e’mail from IHG about the cyber sale this morning, but the cyber sale rates were already showing on the IHG reservations page this weekend, so this is hardly breaking news.

  3. @Joseph N – if i knew the rates were already up i’d have posted, i waited not wanting to send folks to a site where the rates weren’t yet live
