Missed Connections: Woman on Flight from London Wants to Find You

A woman on January 3rd’s Ryanair flight FR2371 from London Stansted to Dublin has fallen for a man she barely spoke to during the journey. Only she didn’t get his number and she’s seeking the world’s help to track him down.

She’s a blond from Berlin living in Dublin. He was in 9D, about 5′ 11″, with dark blond hair. They made eye contact, but didn’t speak until passport control.

Notably this shot at love was struck on a 59 minute flight.

The woman had to collect her bag at baggage claim. He didn’t have any luggage and his friends were waiting on him.

“He hesitated a bit when Vera said she had to pick up her bag first and he said, ‘Oh okay’ and then she said have a nice stay.”

Now, you’d think that legacy airlines would offer better dating demographics than an ultra low cost carrier like Ryanair. But they’re so engrained in the nation’s transportation now that this just isn’t true. For instance Prince William has eschewed British Airways in favor of Ryanair and two years ago then-Prime Minister David Cameron was spotted eating Pringles on Ryanair competitor easyJet.

RyanAir, whose sense of humor normally tracks that of a 13 year old boy, offered in a statement, “‘It’s nice to see our customers love each other as much as they love our (very attractive) low fares.'”

  1. “Now, you’d think that legacy airlines would offer better dating demographics than an ultra low cost carrier”

    — my first time flying Spirit, I was assigned a middle seat… between 2 hot blonde twentysomethings. No joke!

  2. 9D you say? On flight FR2371 FRA-DUB, 3rd January? Sorry, luv, but that’s Martin. He’s gay and married to a man (my second cousin), but he likes to flirt with ladies, just for fun.

How about a nice Syrian gentleman for you, freshly arrived to the country, in his early 20s? He says he’s an established plastic surgeon but has lost all his documents due to war. Plus he lifts weights. Real hunk. A bit conservative though, so you’d have to cover up. Not the face just your hair. And arms. And legs to ankles.

  3. She’s quite pretty, so I’m guessing if plane guy doesn’t work out she’ll have plenty of other offers if she is interested.

  4. Young, attractive and single. In other words, huge red flag that this kook is desperately searching for someone she knows nothing about randomly encountered on a flight given all the eligible men out there. Stay away boys, train wreck waiting to happen.

  5. I’m imagining this story would have a completely different vibe if it was a guy trying to track down a woman.

  6. I don’t care how hot the passengers are I will never fly Ryanair, or Spirit, or ….
Not to mention I see plenty of attractive people on my flights to and from California. And the seats are a lot better…
