Government Defends FBI Agents Placing Innocent People On No Fly List

Using unreviewable, secret and often arbitrary Minority Report-style pre-crime profiling as a basis for denying any kind of right is a huge departure for our system of justice. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit is considering whether someone placed on a No Fly List as retaliation for not becoming an FBI informant, when there’s no suggestion they’ve done anything wrong, is a clearly-enough established violation of rights to justify damages. The Biden administration Justice Department says it is not.

How A United Airlines First Officer Almost Plunged A Boeing 777 Into The Ocean

NTSB found that the captain, who hand-flew the takeoff, called for flaps to be reduced from 20 to 5. However the first officer “thought that he heard the captain announce flaps 15.”

The cause of the incident was attributed to “[t]he flight crew’s failure to manage the airplane’s vertical flightpath, airspeed, and pitch attitude following a miscommunication about the captain’s desired flap setting during the initial climb.”

Tennis Star Venus Williams Says Her “Full Time Job” Is Calling American Airlines Over Lost Luggage

Mom Leaves Kids Alone Beside Passenger Who Refused To Switch Seats

A comedian named Cindy Arena was traveling with her four and six year old kids and they weren’t seated together. She asked another woman to switch seats so she could sit with her kids. The woman said no. Her right, but…

That meant the mom wasn’t with the kids, and this woman who wouldn’t change was seated next to them instead. One of the kids was four! Hijinks are going to ensue!

Partygoer Drops $200,000 To Post Offensive Messages On Side Of Hilton Las Vegas Building

This past Saturday a “’trust fund baby’ from Australia” had been partying at Encore’s Beach Club. He demanded at the Wynn nightclub open an hour early for him, but the manager of XS personally declined this request. It’s not something they can do without any advance notice. This is someone who cares deeply about the party.

So he dropped 200 grand at the Resorts World night club, which let him troll the manager of Wynn’s spot by posting offensive messages to the side of the building.

Southwest Adds Free Standby For All Passengers, Free Wifi With Business Select Fares

Southwest Airlines hasn’t given a date beyond “soon” but all customers will be eligible to stand by for free on another flight, the way that elite, full fare, and customers who buy up to Wanna Get Away Plus fares can do. Additionally, those buying the most expensive Business Select fares (which currently includes being in the first 15 boarding positions (A1-15) and a free drink) will receive free inflight wifi as well.
