Since Very Few People Read this Blog on Saturday Evening…

Since tonight it’s just the two of us, I thought I’d give away money.

I’ve got a $100 gift card, and will select a winner at random tomorrow out of those who comment by Noon Eastern on Sunday.

In case you’re looking for something amusing to occupy yourself between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, there is no limit to the number of times you may enter. You can comment as many times you wish, each comment is an entry.

Just chat away, share whatever thoughts you wish. All decisions and rulings made by me are final and unappeallable. By entering you waive any right to sue for or otherwise claim damages. Please don’t give me a hard time when I am trying to give away money or its equivalent. Thank you!

  1. finally got my husband hooked on points/miles
    – after 1,000,000 aa points I think he gets it

  2. Gary, thanks for your blog and the email notices keeping us on top of all the newest info to help us get the best travel for our miles. I depend on it!

  3. Whats your favorie carribean island? I think maybe the one I can get to with the least miles.
Going to take entire family of 7 next year – this one may take some planning.

  4. Of course, the Dominican Republic shares the island with Haiti…but you know what I mean.

  5. @Deb Well, taking your family of 7 should put a nice dent in your 1,000,000 points. But what a great way to use them!

  6. About to head out for my weekly long run. Who else here runs marathons? I’ve run Chicago (x3) and Melbourne (x1). I’m running Mexico City and NY this year.

  7. So much for people not reading your post on Saturday night…How about a timestamp to see the trends next time?

  8. Am interested in a flight from Philadelphia area at end of August to Milan, but prices are skyhigh. May leave from Newark, but even then cheapest fares require 2-3 stops (!) or long layovers. Last time I used a free flight on Flying Blue w/AMEX membership miles and back on AA, but not sure I have enough AMEX points to do that this time. (Have looked aat FlyingBlue’s promos, but they’re not quite right.) Any suggestions? What about flying to Spain and then on from there? or London, have family there.

  9. I was very annoyed when I was in Rio last month, that half my company was put up at the Marriott but the other half (including me) was stuck in a non-chain hotel.

  10. Do you have a friend or two who refuse to collect points? Even after you have given them “the talk”?

  11. Eminem was really loud at the Stadium last night – I’m surprised to hear that there were sound problems.
