The Philadelphia airport has arguably the worst American Express Centurion lounge. It’s small. The food isn’t very good or attractively presented. There’s nothing relaxing about the space.

Amex Follows Citi In Devaluing Emirates Transfers—Why The Airline Doesn’t Care About Your Points
Emirates is only marginally useful as a transfer partner. Their awards are expensive and they impose draconian fuel surcharges as well. You can also transfer to Qantas and redeem saver inventory at similar or better pricing in many cases.
Most Travelers Never Notice The Amex JFK Lounge’s Secret Room With Premium Bar—Here’s Exactly Where It Is
I’d take the Capital One lounge over this one in a heartbeat. The coffee here is going to be better than in the Chase lounge or Delta Sky Club. It’s decent as far as airport lounges go but I wouldn’t go out of my way to seek it out or spend extra time here.
Leak Confirms Delta & Amex Building Ultra-Premium Card Above Reserve—Will It Carry A Four-Figure Fee?
Delta and American Express are working on a new premium credit card, positioned as higher-end than their current premium Delta Reserve card that comes with lounge access.
Amex Platinum Will Undergo Biggest Overhaul Ever—Get Ready For Higher Fees And New Hoops To Jump Through?
Chase has an ad campaign out that a refresh of their Sapphire Reserve product is coming, and that they will be introducing a business version of the card. Not to be left behind in the media buzz, American Express put out a release saying they, too, will refresh their personal and business Platinum cards “later this year.”

Amex Centurion Lounge Received One Of Five Worst Health Scores In All Of Charlotte
Most of the time, I wonder what the lines to get into Centurion lounges do to brand affinity – someone gets the card and they finally go to use their benefit and it isn’t a premium experience. Failing health inspections seems worse?
Amex Cardholders: Get Free Access To The Award Search Tool That Saves You Time And Points
I really like point.me award search and I use it myself when trying to find award flights. Quickly search across most frequent flyer programs to see what flights are available to book using points, compare the cost of those awards, and get help with how to make the bookings at the lowest cost possible. This is a premium service, but did you know that you can access it for free? And if you haven’t used it lately, it’s gotten far better in the last few months.
Coming To Boston: Two-Story American Express Centurion Lounge With Rooftop Bar
Boston’s Logan Airport will get an American Express Centurion lounge, and it’s expected to open in 2027. The agreement was approved by the airport’s board on Thursday, and will require building out a new structure to accommodate a two-story lounge totaling 20,000 square feet near gate C10.
No More Waiting In Line? Digital Waitlists Are Finally Here for Amex Centurion Lounges
It was 2018 when I wrote that Centurion lounges are so busy, nobody goes there anymore. I rarely stop in, even when I have the time. They’re too busy. The food isn’t as good as it used to be. And other lounges have improved.
They’ve limited guest access and how much time you can spend in a Centurion lounge, but that hasn’t solved the crowding as they sign up more and more cardmembers with the promise of access. But now they’re doing something that could at least make the waits easier.
