Bilt Rewards has launched a new travel portal and it promises to fix everything customers hate about travel portals. In fact, it aims to actually make travel better and easier. At a minimum, they’re building along the right lines. And their new ‘Home Away From Home’ brings luxury travel benefits like Amex’s Fine Hotels and Resorts to their members without requiring an expensive credit card.
Bilt Rewards confirmed their new valuation of over $10 billion – specifically $10.75 billion – based on a $250 million fundraising round meant to fuel expansion beyond apartment rent and into homeownership.
And they also shared big news: that they will be leaving Wells Fargo for Cardless.
On June 1 Bilt will be offering up to a 200% bonus on points transfers to Accor. This is a backdoor transfer bonus from Bilt to Air France KLM Flying Blue, and up to a 100% transfer bonus at that.

This move is another opportunity for the unprecedentedly large transfer bonuses that Bilt offers, and for other special promotions like status match offers.
Bilt is adjusting points-earning for rent payments on their new feature to earn rewards paying rent with any card, for a fee.
Bilt Rewards has added Japan Airlines as a 1:1 points transfer partner. Bilt says that most transfers will be completed within 10 minutes.

I’m a Bilt Platinum and with a 100% transfer bonus I’d surely get 2.5 cents per point in value here and double that with a companion pass strategy – and the option value in Bilt points is higher than any other currency, the more of these 100% bonuses they offer the more reluctant I am to take advantage of any one of them.
