Why British Airways First Class is the World’s Second Best Business Class

Six or seven years ago Lucky from One Mile at a Time and I debated whether British Airways first class was ‘the world’s best business class.’ At the time I still felt like BA’s first offered something approximating a first class product, even if it wasn’t one of the better or flashier ones.

Now that same product, which BA is still flying, doesn’t even qualify as the best business class out there.

British Airways Fuel Surcharge Class Action Settlement Miles are Posting

Back in June I wrote about the class action settlement over fuel surcharges imposed by British Airways on U.S. customers between November 9, 2006 and April 17, 2013.

Sadly British Airways stopped calling these member taxes ‘fuel surcharges’ (which legally have to be related to the cost of fuel) and started calling them ‘surcharges’ (money for nothing) and they can keep on penalizing Avios redemptions to their heart’s content.

That’s Not What Your Seat’s Coat Hook is For

First class seats may have their own closets. Business class seats may have coat hooks. Those are, naturally, for hanging a jacket though of course flight attendants are often willing to hang your jacket up in the closet.

When space is limited, though, and your needs aren’t like most of the passengers that seats were designed for you’re going to have to improvise. And that brings us to the Thanksgiving travels of one Blac Chyna.
