The British Airways Concorde Room at London Heathrow has run out of Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle champagne over Easter Weekend.
They’ve been serving Henriot out of the lounge next door. There are scattered reports that there is a modest Laurent Perrior reserve held back to be served only in the sit down dining area of the lounge.

British Airways Executive Club will go more revenue-based for mileage-earning and redemption. Here they’ll copy Lufthansa, Alitalia, and Air France.
On the earning side that’s almost meaningless, it’s already one of the original mostly-revenue based programs with both miles earned based on fare class and elite tier points based on fare as well. This would just tie revenue and miles more directly, a change in technology. On the redemption side though this is bad for members.

Chase won’t approve many people who have opened 5 or more new accounts within the previous 24 months for some of their credit cards. That’s frequently referred to as “5/24.”
However some cards are exempt from 5/24, and the number of new accounts you’ve had in the last two years won’t disqualify you from being approved.

Iberia is great because — although accounts that have been open 90 days and have had some activity can move between Avios programs already — you can circumvent the active accounts requirement and go straight to the Spanish carrier’s program. And that lets you redeem for Iberia flights for far fewer miles, and without huge fuel surcharges.
Despite this deepening relationship with IAG I wasn’t expecting news that Chase would issue an Iberia credit card in the United States.

Malaysian Airline Malindo Air requires women to remove their tops for flight attendant interviews. However they aren’t required to do that for passengers, and passengers are supposed to stay clothed while inflight.
That message wasn’t clear to one passenger onboard flight OD162 from Kuala Lumpur to Dhaka, however. He stripped naked and started watching porn inflight. Then the moment reportedly overtook him. And the flight hadn’t even taken off yet.
