Malaysian Airline Malindo Air requires women to remove their tops for flight attendant interviews. However they aren’t required to do that for passengers, and passengers are supposed to stay clothed while inflight.
That message wasn’t clear to one passenger onboard flight OD162 from Kuala Lumpur to Dhaka, however. He stripped naked and started watching porn inflight. Then the moment reportedly overtook him. And the flight hadn’t even taken off yet.
He agreed to put his clothes back on. However when he went to the lavatory he tried to tug hug a stewardess. She objected, and he attacked her. Oh and he urinated on his seat. Which happens surprisingly often.
- Two years ago it was shocking when a passenger peeing incident occurred on a JetBlue flight. Since then it’s become almost de rigueur with incidents on American Airlines and British Airways and on Air Mediterranee.
- It’s happened on Air India (which we’d expect) and on easyJet (which we’d expect) and a somewhat similar incident on Ryanair (which we’d also expect, but in this case it involved the passenger being charged an ancillary fee).
- British Airways has even had to instruct staff to stop doing it in the cargo holds since “urine is quite corrosive and there was some issues with some of the Boeing 747s.”
Our hero on the Malindo Air flight was restrained by other passengers who tied his hands up with cloth so he wouldn’t go blind.
Of course when a British Airways pilot did something similar he was only suspended.

Re: Urinating in cargo hold.
I was captain of a small crew boat with no lavatory. I had a deckhand that wanted to urinate into the bilge. I had to explain in much detail he couldn’t, because of the corrosiveness of urine. A long time ago, before knowing this, I would wondered at the beginning of corrosion of the metal partitions between urinals in men’s bathrooms.
