Delta Air Lines flight 2432 from Atlanta to New Orleans turned to chaos on Wednesday shortly before landing as a passenger put a flight attendant in a chokehold and threated to decapitate her with broken glass that he held against her neck.

The passenger had been bleeding from his neck and cab crew sought medical assistance before he grabbed one of the crew. He’d reportedly cut his own neck.

Lawsuit: Delta Offered Teen 5000 Miles After Passenger They Served 11 Drinks To Touched Her Up

A woman and her mother are suing Delta Air Lines after they say that a man seated in their row on an international flight from New York JFK to Athens was served ten vodka drinks and a glass of wine – before harassing and sexually touching them. Flight attendants blew off their pleas, according to the women, and didn’t even report the incident to authorities. The daughter was sixteen. Eventually they were each awarded 5,000 SkyMiles.

Delta Agent Begs Passengers To Take $1300 Cash And Volunteer For A Later Flight

Delta Air Lines flight 5637 from New York JFK to Columbus was overbooked on Saturday, and a gate agent found himself begging passengers to take $1,300 and travel at 9 a.m. the next day.

The airline started off offering $800. That’s more than you’ll find American or United offering most of the time. The agent worked his way up to $1,300 volunteer – and he was selling it.

Delta Flight Attendants Save Passenger’s Honeymoon, Retrieving A Passport And Delivering It To San Juan

Two Delta passengers, one with the lowest level of status (Silver), were heading off on their honeymoon. They were flying Detroit to San Juan back in February where they’d pick up a cruise the following day. But right after their flight took off, the bride realized she left her passport at home. That would mean no cruise, since it would head to international destinations and she wouldn’t be permitted to board. There was no way to get the passport in time, they thought.

Delta Opens The Kimono On Their SkyMiles Credit Card, Now About 1% Of The Whole Country’s GDP

Before the pandemic the American Airlines co-brand portfolio had the largest charge volume, but American, United and Delta were all over $100 billion annually. Delta now says they’re “approaching 1% of U.S. GDP” on their co-brand cards, which would be ~ $255 billion.

Inflation helps, but it’s reasonable to think they’re suggesting they’re around $200 billion in annual charge volume on Delta Amex cards. Even if American and United are lagging Delta’s growth surely then these three airline co-brands are now taking a slice out of more than 2% of U.S. GDP.

Breaking: Delta Flight Manages Successful Landing In Charlotte Without Nose Gear

Delta Air Lines flight 1092 from Atlanta to Charlotte just successfully landed without its nose gear. Passengers safely deplaned the aircraft and made it to the terminal by bus.

After circling the airport a couple of times, trying to address the malfunctioning landing gear, the plane made it down onto runway 36 at around 8:40 a.m. The runway is currently closed.
