You have to hold your nose any time you’re accumulating Delta SkyMiles, among the least valuable points currencies in all of travel. So it’s only fitting that a skunk flew Delta Air Lines first class recently.
A passenger posted a photo of what looks like a skunk sitting in a Delta first class seat. It’s not alive – it’s a “vintage taxidermy piece” and they weree flying with it from LA home to Minneapolis. Apparently TSA laughed at it at the checkpoint and a Delta agent asked to pet it.
This isn’t a one-off, either, the passenger shares that this is the third taxidermy piece they’ve flown in the cabin with and it usually shocks flight attendants.
Most commenters online seem to enjoy this, though a few would use it as an excuse to ask the iarline for compensation. Perhaps the best referred to the skunk as “Pepe Le Flew.”

Perfect destination for a skunk.
@Mantis — So you live in Minneapolis now?
