ETA: Btw do you know for a fact why they pulled out or are you just guessing? I read some people who were expecting and even purchased items were clawed back so it was a hack job.
I always wanted to be a fly on the wall in the Monday morning business meeting with these companies that get hit hard by award points folks. Statements like “wow, I can’t believe it, wow, just wow. This could put us out of business” going around the room. Or the positive ones like the Conservation International Simplymiles windfall one last December. “Oh wow! We hit the lottery, let’s buy a Learjet.
