- Spirit won’t refund a deployed Navy quartermaster. She gets a flight credit minus a change fee. Because that’s how it works. Can’t same I’m outraged or overly sympathetic on this one that’s beginning to get a bit of play.

Great job on Fox Gary!
Buddy tries to say the reason airline ticket prices won’t immediately reflect lower fuel prices is because of fuel hedges, but you didn’t let him get away with that.Hilarious. It is all about supply & demand and as long as the planes are full, the airlines will be reluctant to discount fares.
Nice of you to inform the public watching the segment to check Frontier/ Southwest/Spirit websites, Frontier was key for me last year when my mother was gravely ill.
Nice article on best cards for travelers! I was surprised to not see the Starwood Amex in the list, though, given your enthusiasm for it in the past.
For a single large end-of-year purchase that is _not_ in any bonus category, would you put it on Sapphire Preferred or Starwood Amex? I’m longtime Starwood Platinum, a couple years away from lifetime Platinum, and stay with them frequently – but have found Chase UR points to be very flexible and great value. Wondering which you prefer for unbonused spend.
@Lisa SPG is a very good card but doesn’t make my top 2 in any given category. Very strong earner for ongoing, unbonused spend.
