Pizza in Motion is spinning his wheels over a new promotion for two free Marriott nights when you buy tires from Tire Rack.
When you purchase a set of four (4) Continental passenger or light truck tires in a single transaction (excluding HSR and HDR tires) for a total value of $440* or more, you may be eligible to receive 2 free nights† at participating Marriott Hotels. Offer valid on tires purchased from Tire Rack’s in-stock inventory between 12:00 a.m. EDT May 5, 2014 and 11:59 p.m. EDT June 2, 2014.
The minimum $440 purchase for 4 tires is the cost of tires only — it excludes “shipping, mounting, balancing, taxes, road hazard insurance coverage or any other fees.”
These are weekend nights (Friday or Saturday check-in) and the free nights will be delivered by email and valid for stays consumed within 12 months with at least 15 days’ advance reservation.
Once you’ve made your qualifying purchase you need to submit your invoice and rebate form. Claims can be made online or by mail.
Eligible properties are listed here (.pdf). It’s an extensive list but excludes some of Marriott’s top tier hotels.
Someone out there will get the idea to buy tires online and re-sell them and pocket the free nights. Although one imagines re-selling tires – especially without a full stock to meet the needs of whatever customers one finds — could be a challenge..!

If you wanted to do the resale angle also be advised that the warranty is only good for original owner.
Just to clarify, the promotion is being run by Continental and is available anywhere you can buy their tires not just Tire Rack.
I’m not sure I’d buy tires just to resell them (although it’d probably be easy to do on E-bay) but it’s a good deal if you’re looking for tires.
@Carl P – the resale angle was meant as a joke in this case 🙂
