Delta has updated their terms and conditions again. Now there’s a 3 day advance purchase requirement for all awards that do not start or end in the U.S. or Canada. Unless earlier versions of the rule you cannot get out of it with airport ticketing.

Alaska Airlines is running a sale for flights to and from California in April and May. That includes $99 Hawaii flights in each direction, good for Honolulu, Maui Kauai, and Kona.
The best deals are from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose and Sacramento but Portland and Seattle have $139 flights too.

There’s a flash sale just through March 22 offering a 100% bonus on IHG Rewards Club points. That should mean $0.00575 per point, which is a lower price than what I value the points at.
Strangely I’m actually seeing the price come up even lower than that.
Here’s the video of a purported airline crew sex tape which has been banned by the government.
China Eastern is denying the tape involves “at least six naked flight attendants having sex and dancing in Madrid.”
A reader writes that they were flying Lufthansa business class from Nuremberg to Rome via Frankfurt using United miles. Their flight out of Nuremberg was delayed due to weather and they were rebooked onto a later flight.
They say they went to board “30 minutes prior to” the new delayed departure time but their seat was “given away, me and a half dozen people.”
