New Silvercar 20% Car Rental Discount, No Minimum Rental Required

I don’t rent cars nearly as often as I used to given the ubiquity of Uber and Lyft. However I really like Silvercar and wish they were in more cities, and really like Silvercar discounts even more.

Silvercar has an all-Audi fleet (and they’re now owned by Audi) and their all-inclusive model comes with free GPS, wifi, and satellite radio. You pay only actual tolls (no administrative charges) and can pay a flat $5 and they’ll refuel your car at market rate.

Visa Infinite promo code VINFINITE has been good for 30% off of rentals two days or longer. It’s how I’ve managed to book Silvercar often for less than competing rental car companies.

However that offer ended November 8. Dan’s Deals points out that there’s a new promo code VISAINF20.

  • It’s just 20% off, not 30%
  • However there’s no longer a 2+ day rental requirement

In my experience using the prior promo code renting with a Visa Infinite card isn’t actually required, it was fine to use a Chase Sapphire Preferred Card which comes with primary collision damage coverage, for instance.

And if you’re looking for the 30% discount it’s still available on a 5 day rental though with promo code WEEKLY30.

If you haven’t rented with Silvercar before if you enter someone’s referral code you’ll each get $25 when you complete your first rental. My referral code, which you can enter when you sign up, is GLEFF (it should be entered automatically signing up with this link). However readers can feel free to leave theirs in the comments. I actually made money the first time I rented from Silvercar.
