I’m impressed that the discount isn’t just off of base fare, but also off fuel surcharges and taxes.
Have they upgraded their business class yet? I flew them transatlantic a few years ago and the “Magnifica class” seats were old school recliner style. Certainly better than the back of the plane, but they seemed a little behind the rest of Europe since BA, LH, AF, etc. had already deployed flat seat solutions. From what I remember, the food and beverage were pretty decent.
Wow, much better that the Google Translations I typically get for German…
I haven’t have any luck getting it to work from the USA for a transatlantic flight and a domestic connection in Italy. I tried with and without codeshare flights on both the Italian and English sites.
Has anyone successfully tested the code?
Thanks.
I get “E-coupon code not valid” anyone had any luck with this?
@Joe L. I tried as well but nothing.
I wonder if they meant at midnight on Friday?
I got it to work. From DFW-ATh in september and got a price of 781.37 EU!!
Did you get payment service unavailable errors?
Ok I figured it out. You have to book it using the Italian language site for some reason.
Alex, did you use SPECIAL20IT or SPECIAL20US?
Special20IT. It worked pretty good, even on one ways and business class too.
I was able to get the flights to price, eventually on the Italian site, but it was almost $1,400 after the discount. Back to the drawing board.
Sicily in August is probably too dang hot anyway.
Any good j-class fares ex-N.America now that the London fare seems to be gone.
Just worked for me on the Italian website as well! Thanks for sharing.
I booked yesterday on the CA website using an AMEX. I immediately got a confirmation number and an 055 ticket number. Today, the transaction is not showing on my CC and looking up the res. via the AZ website using the record locator, it says I’m not ticketed and no longer reflects the 20% discount. Using the ticket # I get an error. Am I screwed?
