Not the first time a hotel has been used to make a bomb. Ahmed Ressam made his bomb at the 2400 Motel, 2400 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, Canada, which still exists and is currently used to house Syrian refugees. He was caught when he came across the US border when his bomb was found. Ressam was planning to bomb LAX 12/31/1999.
Ressam was caught was he got nervous during questioning as he sat in his car. He then got out and ran. That’s when they tackled him and searched his car, finding the bomb hidden under the trunk floor.
