JohnnyJet was an internet travel superstar before there was any such thing, he started a website that was a collection of links, everything you’d find online about travel, and grew it from there including television specials. He has a series where he interviews famous (Peter Greenberg, Pauline Frommer) and ‘almost famous’ travelers.
And I’m really humbled to be the latest of his ‘Travel Style’ interviews, though I don’t quite fit the almost famous category even.

Can you comment a little more about the smooth ride of a 777? I’ve flown a 747 but not the 777. Maybe I don’t fly enough but I don’t notice much change between aircraft. (of similar size at least)

Now that you mention it, both my 747 travels as well as the 777 travels between Frankfurt and Newark, were always smooth, where as my much smaller domestic travel is always filled with some level of turbulence.
