An unruly passenger on a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali turned around shortly after departure. Flight JQ43 left just before 11 am on Monday. The woman dubbed “the passenger from hell” started accusing another traveler of stealing her mobile phone. The accused allegedly attempted to force her way into the cockpit, shouting at fellow passengers, and physically pushing others aside as she moved through the cabin.
Cabin crew, with the help of some passengers, eventually managed to restrain the woman at the rear of the Boeing 787 as it returned to Melbourne.
Jetstar confirmed the incident in a statement, noting that the decision to turn the flight around was made by the captain to seek assistance from the Australian Federal Police. The flight was rescheduled for 10 am Tuesday.
After around 2 hours of flight to Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), an unruly passenger forced the Jetstar flight JQ43, operated by a B787-8 Dreamliner (VH-VKJ), to return back to Melbourne (MEL) owing to a bizarre mid-air drama.

The person pulling up an the passenger’s head better be law enforcement or they could be in big trouble.
Note that to my knowledge no Floridian or American was involved in this incident.
I’ve never seen anything of the like on any flight I’ve been on…and hope I NEVER do (“knock on wood”)!
“An unruly passenger on a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali turned around shortly after departure.”
Did he do it in his seat or the aisle?
Gotta love ol’ Deathstar Air, it’s like Spirit for Oz.
