A woman who was in a sexual relationship with an aeroplane for nine years has revealed that she has broken up with it, but they still remain friends.
Warehouse worker Michele Köbke, 36, first entered the torrid affair with the Boeing 737-800, which she affectionately called ‘Darling’, in 2014…’The 737-800 is very attractive and sexy to me. He’s the most beautifully built, and he’s a very attractive and elegant aircraft.’
…Michele was diagnosed as an objectophile years ago…’It’s like a normal relationship, we have relaxing evenings together and when we go to bed, we cuddle and fall asleep together’, she added.
- The Vasu Raja rehabilitation tour continues with an Airlines Confidential interview. Mostly the same Raja, but he does seem to realize that customers matter: “who are your customers, who are you rmost profitable customers, how do you make the most profitable customers stay and how do you attract a new” customer that will be profitable?
He understands wallet share of individual customers. He still never gets to product and actual travel experience which has always been a blind spot. But he does uniquely understand the value of frequent flyer programs in a way that most executives do not (really).

- United introduces signature regional entrees in first class
Our Hospitality Programs team recently launched new signature regional entrees that are available for preorder on domestic flights departing from EWR, IAH, ORD and SFO.
The goal of these entrees is to give United First customers a taste of the local cuisine from our world-class hub cities. The entrees were developed with an eye for both trending and familiar local cuisines at each hub, in combination with the pillars of our culinary identity to ensure they are fresh, simple and delicious!
…We will continue to introduce these dishes across all seven of our hubs over the coming months, and rotate offerings so that they stay fresh and relevant for our guests.
I thought for sure a word must have been omitted from the headline (typo). That the woman broke up with a man she met on an airplane.
I wonder when the headlines will become Southwest Airlines struggle under Elliot Management’s direction.
