There’s a 50,000 point offer available for the American Airlines co-brand small business card from Citibank.
The bonus requires $3000 in purchases within 3 months, and the card has a $0 fee the first year then $95.
This is a common offer, though I haven’t seen it in a few months. When the personal and small business cards pulled down 50,000 as the prevailing limited-time offer earlier in the year there was still a lingering link for the personal card but I hadn’t seen an online application for the business card at that level.
The offer says it’s only available for applications through July 31, though whether it disappears after that remains unknown (and we should expect its return).
Nonetheless, between the small business offer, the personal offer, and offer for the Citi Executive Card there’s a lot of American AAdvantage signup bonus points available right now.
“This CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® card offer is not available to you if you already have a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® card account. Additionally, this offer is valid only for first time CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® cardmembers who apply pursuant to this offer for an account by July 31, 2015.”
I cancelled CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® card over 1 year ago. Despite the language saying I am not eligible for the bonus, do you know if I qualify for the bonus again?
So is this card available to a LLC business or just sole proprietors?
I have an American LLC but no SSN as I’m not a US resident.
Dale.
Jumped on it right away despite recent 4 apps, approved with call in. Thanks for the link! And if you get credit all the better. I am not bitter like many who criticize you and other bloggers for making a living from these signups.
@Frank no credit to me on the business card, just a good offer worth mentioning 🙂 And congrats.
Just got declined online. I had the Executive card last year or the year before (now closed) and currently have an active personal card. Not sure the reason. It went so fast it didn’t seem like the system had time to go and check my credit report. But who knows.
I have good credit, etc. etc. Interesting that they declined me right off. Usually they say that they need to think about it and will send me a letter.
I think Citi will decline AA appl (personal or business) if you had AA personal card, AA Exec included, within 18-24 months. Check out the Flyertalk thread on this…
