Bear in mind that points earned via social don’t extend the expiration date of your account. And also that Marriott points transfer 3:1 into Starwood Preferred Guest.

Tried this the past two weeks and not getting any points from it. Not sure what the issue is since twitter account is linked.
I tried the last two weeks. No points, no response from Marriott even though the accounts are linked.
Judging by Twitter, lots of people are having the same issue.
