Check Out These Great Hotel Auctions Going Way Too Cheap This Weekend

I’ve written in the past about the great auction values at Luxury Travel Diary, many of which seem to go for 30% – 70% off, probably because there just aren’t that many people bidding so you can scoop up bargains. Folks who already know about these auctions won’t like the added attention.

However since they’re based in the UK they probably didn’t realize that they were setting a bunch of auctions to end over Labor Day Weekend in the U.S. which means even less internet traffic than usual. (I’m seeing the traffic slowdown on my blog right now, when normal weekend traffic is strong and Sundays are one of my busiest days).

That means a great opportunity, since there are several auctions ending in the next 24 to 96 hours that are going for incredible prices and may be worth paying attention to.

For instance the Bab al Qasr hotel in Abu Dhabi regularly runs ~ $225 per night but 4 nights at auction are currently going for $142 total.

How about 3 nights in a pool villa in Siemp Reap, Cambodia in an auction that’s ending and currently going for $356 total — or 4 nights in a boutique hotel there for $65 total?

Here are a couple more standouts that end on Monday, Labor Day in the States:

If you want to escape family and you’re not on grilling duty it could be worth giving some of these a watch.
