Double Hyatt Qualifying Nights At Thompson And Dream Hotels

Hyatt is offering double elite nights at two of its brands – Dream Hotels and Thompson Hotels – for stays completed between March 22, 2024, and June 10, 2024. Registration required by May 22.

There are currently 9 open Dream Hotels. There are about 20 open Thompson Hotels.

I haven’t yet stayed at a Dream Hotel since Hyatt completed the acquisition a year ago. I do much like Thompson hotels (except for the Thompson Denver, requiring mandatory tipping of the owner. Airline folks should know that the Thompson Washington D.C. is right next door to DOT.

The offer is useful even for folks already confident of hitting 60 nights for Globalist status, since Hyatt now offers incremental rewards every 10 nights, up to 150 nights.

And this stacks with Hyatt’s current offer of 3,000 bonus points every 3 qualifying nights, up to 21 nights, which runs through April 30.

  1. Gary when you say it stacks with Bonus Journeys, does that mean every night at Thompson/Dream effectively earns 2k since it will be 2 EQNs?

  2. This might be wishful thinking, but will this offer count towards a corporate status challenge — completing 20 nights in three months to obtain Globalist status — and make it just a 10 night requirement?

  3. @Jonathan Sha – highly doubtful that it would count double as the Bonus Journeys seems to be based on actual nights. I’d not expect this to post extra, but we shall see.

We have a 2 night stay at Thompson Austin in April for the eclipse. It will be nice to get the extra EQN (especially with our SLH booking no longer yielding the EQN). But I’ll not be expecting extra nights toward Bonus Journeys.

    Cheers.
