An airline’s small business program lets you accrue points in that business program account in addition to miles in the traveler’s frequent flyer account.
What’s more, you can earn points this way both for yourself when you travel and also in your business program account when other people travel and include your business account number.
I’ve made good use of American’s Business ExtrAA program, especially for low point value redemptions like gifting Gold elite status (2400 points) and Admirals Club lounge memberships (3000 points).
Members of the small business Business ExtrAA program are being solicited to join Budget car rental’s business program.
When you enroll in Budget car rental’s small business program your first rental with them will earn 300 American Airlines ‘Business ExtrAA’ points.
There’s actually an award available at just 300 points — an American Airlines Admirals Club day pass.
I received the email and signed up. I couldn’t find a way to link my Business Extraa account number to the Budget Business Program. Any help?
Gary, do you know where you put your business extraa number in? I filled out the form for Budget, but could not find any place to put in my business extra number.
How would you get the business extraa 300 points for your first rental if they don’t know your business extra number???
@MIke, @Greg – I got an email saying I had to reply to the email with my Business Extra number, or I could call 877-516-7275 to provide my Business Extra information.
@Gary – In the email I received at the bottom, it also said that for a new member bonus, I would receive 75 Business Extra points for each rental completed by Dec 31, 2015. What would you do in my case? Would you pay $125 for a rental with 375 Business Extra points, or would you just pay $85 for the rental with a different BCD/Coupon and no BXtra points?
