Europe Awards From 16,500 Miles, And 3 New Bonuses Transferring Points To Miles

  • There are (3) new transfer bonus out in the past couple of days.

    1. Chase is offering a 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic through June 15, 2022.
    2. Citi is offering a 25% bonus on transfers to Air France KLM through May 20, 2022.
    3. And American Express is offering a 15% bonus on transfers to Avianca LifeMiles through May 31, 2022.

    All worth knowing about in case you have a reason to transfer points to one of these programs, but none so lucrative it makes sense to transfer just for the bonus – far better to keep your points flexible and able to be transferred wherever they’re needed when you’re ready to use them.

  • Flying Blue promo awards for May are out with coach Air France and KLM flights from New York and Chicago to Europe discounted 25%.

  • American Airlines will stop making phone calls to flight attendants who don’t acknowledge trips while working reserve it’s not contractually required, and was originally intended as a stopgap measure, but eliminating it seems like a cost-saver at the expense of completing trips (bad for the operation) while making it more likely that they can terminate employees (potentially not great for the operation).

  • They were trying to avoid a bird strike.

  • Former NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio living at the New York Marriott Brooklyn Bridge while his home is renovated. The property is owned by a developer that thrived in New York during the DeBlasio administration.

    Trump Bonvoyed America. Trump’s disastrous administration is still delivering problems to the country and to the world even over a year after Trump got ceremoniously defeated by the American electorate in November 2020.

  6. When it comes to matters of history of the country and America’s mayors, Brian L/Letterboy is so myopic that no amount of the metaphorical equivalent of keratotomy or prescription eyewear can fix it.

    The country in the course of history has had a lot of clowns as elected administrative office holders, and DeBlasio is nowhere close to having been among the worst of the lot. Marion Barry was an awful caricature of himself; deBlasio not so much, and DeBlasio less so than Trump.

    Speaking of the worst political clowns in elected administrative offices in the country, formerly-Clinton-loving Trump has been far closer to being America’s worst elected administrative office holder than DeBlasio. Even when adjusting for constituency size, no one has Bonvoyed Americans as badly in Brian L/Letterboy’s lifetime as has been done Donald J Trump, “the former guy”.
