Flight Attendant Faked A Marriage Proposal Inflight. It Was Just The Credit Card Pitch

During a flight from New York to Miami on Thursday a Spirit Airlines flight attendant appeared to propose marriage to a coworker. Only they weren’t proposing wedded bliss, they were proposing… the Spirit Airlines credit card.

In video shared to twitter by social media marketing executive Regev Gur, the flight attendant says, kneeling in front of another crewmember:

We have an awesome announcement we would love to share with you guys. This doesn’t usually happen on an aircraft, but this man is about to propose. That’s right, this man is about to propose.

…Propose a great offer on Spirit Airlines!

Wait, and is that mustard?

This flight attendant would have fit in well in the old days when Spirit Airlines marketing was led by a 13 year old buy current Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle… and they’d run Anthony Weiner sales, MILF sales (“Many Islands, Low Fares”) and declared during the Gulf oil spill that you should check out the (suntan) oil on their beaches.

In any case, that’s the way you do it people. Have fun with it, love what you do, and we won’t mind the inflight card announcement one bit.

  1. I’ve had this flight attendant on Spirit before with the yellow glasses – he’s a hilarious guy and was so nice to passengers through the entire flight … did that same mustard trick to me.
