Marriott will give you 1000 points for answering a simple question on Twitter.
What year was the first @NFL Pro Bowl held? Answer with #RewardsPoints before 8pm EST on 12/31 and get 1,000 points if you get it right. pic.twitter.com/5F9JtRHt7h

Your Marriott Rewards and Twitter accounts need to be connected of course, but they give you points for that too.
For the Googlely-challenged they’re looking for ‘1951 #RewardsPoints’.

Bear in mind that points earned via social don’t extend the expiration date of your account. And also that Marriott points transfer 3:1 into Starwood Preferred Guest.
Many people, including myself, are getting 5,000 points today. The first 1,000 posted almost immediately, and when I logged in to my account later, there were a total of 5 individual 1,000 point entries for today’s trivia question.
@Richard H. My wife and I got a total of 8,000 each. Don’t know why but I’m not complaining one bit.
This question each week is posted a day late and dollar short!!
@Ronald Mitchell – no the question is posted here within minutes or an hour or so of when Marriott posts it!
Sorry I have been waiting on my email. I will check your site on Sundays
