  1. hope United sue that guy for slandering. He shouldn’t have had to eat or fly on United at all.

  2. @Don G — And hope that guy sues you for defamation, since we’re just ‘sayin’ things that won’t happen’ here.

  3. Is that UA meal the cheese enchilada? Presentation aside, those are actually one of the better meals on UA.

  4. I have not flown Thai Lion Air but I have flown the somewhat similar Thai Air Asia. On Thai Air Asia, you can upgrade to an exit row seat for a very reasonable additional fee. The flight attendants keep those who haven’t paid the fee out of those seats. I have paid the fee several times and I will continue if the seats are available at a reasonable fee. I expect that Thai Lion Air has a similar fee. The British guy was just being cheap. I’m glad that they dragged him off of the airplane.

  5. By the way, I love durian so Matthew Klint’s threat of a durian diet is no threat to me.

  6. United’s first class/Polaris business meals/cheap wines are awful…. When will they realize this?

  7. @Jd — Watch out, @Don G will threaten you with a libel lawsuit. Maybe he works for United; or, he just gets-off on the idea of frivolous lawsuits. Either way, sounds like more money for lawyers! Yay…
