JetBlue has launched a huge promotion to celebrate its 25th anniversary, offering up to 25 years of first tier elite status and as many as 350,000 TrueBlue points.
To participate, fly between June 25 and December 31, 2025. TrueBlue members automatically participate by traveling with their TrueBlue number attached—no separate registration is required. Qualifying flights include JetBlue-operated flights in all fare types except Blue Basic, as well as JetBlue Vacations packages. Notably, award flights, Cash + Points bookings, and Mint fares qualify, while codeshare flights do not.
The promotion rewards TrueBlue members based on the number of unique JetBlue destinations they visit:
- Visit 15 unique JetBlue destinations: Earn 150,000 TrueBlue points.
- Visit 20 unique JetBlue destinations: Earn an additional 200,000 TrueBlue points (totaling 350,000 points).
- Visit 25 unique JetBlue destinations: Earn 350,000 TrueBlue points plus an incredible 25 years of Mosaic 1 elite status.
Each unique airport counts once as a destination. Connecting flights count as separate destinations, but departure airports do not.
Points and Mosaic status will be awarded approximately 2-3 weeks after meeting the promotion requirements. JetBlue TrueBlue points typically hold a value of about 1.3 cents each, making the full 350,000 points worth roughly $4,500 toward JetBlue flights.
JetBlue Mosaic 1 status offers significant perks including two free checked bags, priority boarding, waived change and cancellation fees, complimentary alcoholic beverages on Mint and EvenMore fares, free seat selection at check-in, and additional “Perks You Pick”.
This promotion provides outstanding long-term value, particularly for frequent JetBlue flyers or those considering shifting their loyalty temporarily. If you’re in New York or Boston especially you’re well-positioned to take advantage of this.
Will JetBlue even exist in one year?
I doubt JetBlue will be in business in 25 years.
Does this mean I get United’s super duper premium elite too? Or does it mean I spend tens of thousands of dollars on 24 flights and get nothing when JetBlue is either absorbed or bankrupt?
JetBlue isn’t going to just disappear. They’ll get bought out in the minimum. Which means the miles and status should transfer over to the new airline.
Even if the company stays in business, spending money now for promised benefits far in the future rarely works out for the buyer. Just ask anyone who paid for lifetime United Club membership. Or anyone who spent thousands to gain lifetime United elite status..
Am I missing something or does this promo seem oddly do-able? Like, if you’re retired, or just ‘love the game,’ isn’t this even easier than the SAS promotion?
I am based in NYC, and I’ve already got several itineraries with B6 for that time frame. Would be half way through the 15 promo, practically. Makes me wonder, are they doing this because they’re headed for bankruptcy… *sigh* (sure, offer 25 years… we’ll be gone in 6 months anyway!)
Agreed with everyone, 25 years seems like quite the longshot for Jetblue.
@1990 — Certainly easier than the Etihad promotion! (cha-ching)
@L737 — I wouldn’t trust a promo like Etihad’s where you have to be the ‘first’ to complete it (because they’ll just say someone, likely ‘on the inside’ did it before). 5 million miles would be nice… though, lately, a bit challenging navigating via AUH. And, I have no interest in visiting Sochi… but Krabi would be worthwhile!
