News and notes from around the interweb:
- The new co-branded American Express and Target Prepaid REDcard which should let you load up to $72,000 per year.
- US to eliminate option to add pages to passports in 2016. Because the rest of the world stopped doing it, after pressure from the US.
- This can’t be a good idea for tomorrow, right?
The meal improvements at American can’t come soon enough!
- Aegean — which had the easiest path to Star Alliance Gold status for life — if changing their system to require annual requalification. And, sadly, they’ll be sending out new elite cards to take the place of our long expiring ones (which will no longer be valid for for lounge access).

If it was. Agreed out of LAX on a transcon I’d probably like the chicken. Lax is still pretty good, I never liked DFW food on AA
Sorry, I meant catered out of LAX
I, hereby, say (loosely), “I no think you are implying what you think you are implying.” ;)) As your second reference (at least) to your (apparently dubious??) meal choice tomorrow, I don’t see the issue. While this should in no way be construed as an approval of the utterly crooked and unethical new c-suite in that new iteration of a multi-national corporation, I think that a meal with interesting Indian spices and an easily prepared protein might be a good idea in the difficult environment of serving a meal at an elevation of ~30,000 feet. What am I missing? And is it inconceivable?
Anywho, I wish you a very fine flight to your destination tomorrow.
i haven’t used my bluebird account since Walmart stopped accepting vanila gift cards. I live in NYC what GC I can use to reload.
Thank you.
Food!!!
Gary , when do Aegean miles expire? In my case I think all activity in April 2012 , got gold then, no activity since.
Would a solitary credited partner extend my existing miles — if so for how long?
Tried looking it up, but find it confusing. Thanks
Are they borrowing BA coach meals? Because those are the same choices.
@Andrea currently you need qualifying account activity (such as flight from a Star Alliance partner) every 3 years to extend the life of your account and thus accrued miles
@mark if you’d call it that..
