Jennifer Aniston Now Endorses Emirates… Economy Class
Jennifer Aniston is back in a new ad for Emirates. They teased it yesterday with a mystery, who was the man in her seat?
After showering and getting dressed, Jennifer Aniston returns to her first class suite to find a young boy sitting there. They chat, and she takes him to the Emirates bar for a juice on the way to bringing him back to his family seated back in coach. The look on the boy’s father’s face is priceless when Jennifer Aniston shows up with his son. He doesn’t seem too happy when his wife arrives on the other side of the aisle at the same time!
Which Airlines and Hotels Do the Clinton and Trump Campaigns Favor?
The Trump campaign’s biggest spend is on his own Boeing 757 (“TAG Air”).
Hillary Clinton’s biggest spend is on private jet travel as well. Here are her feet propped against the bulkhead.
Both campaigns spend more on American and Delta flights than they do United.
Incredible: Watch Multiple Lightning Strikes Go Through a Plane, Continue to Fly Safely
There’s some pretty incredible video of a Wow Air Airbus A330-300 flying through a lightning storm enroute from Iceland to Paris on Monday.
While on average it’s said that every commercial plane is struck by lightning at least once a year, I believe it’s been over 40 years since a crash has been attributed to a lightning strike. The fuselage of a plane will conduct electricity and allow it to trasmit from the strike and generally out the tail.
Which is Better: American Airlines vs British Airways Business Class?
British Airways has a one minute spot with two kids debating the merits of American Airlines and British Airways business class.
American and British Airways (along with Finnair and Iberia) have an anti-trust immunized joint venture across the Atlantic, which allows them to share revenue and coordinate schedules and pricing. They are (or in theory should be) largely indifferent as to whose metal you fly across the Pond.
So naturally the argument in this spot is that both are awesome! Here’s the truth.

RUBICON CROSSED? Delta Introduces Variable Award Prices for Virgin Atlantic Partner Awards
Although Delta has a terrible penchant for changing award prices without notice — a practice I believe is unfair and deceptive, we’ve known that even though Delta removed award charts from their website, they still price awards based on charts. In other words, there are fixed prices that correspond to different inventory levels.
Partner awards have always been saver awards. Until now.

Was an Etihad Flight Attendant Really Screaming During an Emergency Landing? No: Video Emerges
Last Tuesday’s Etihad flight EY450 from Abu Dhabi to Sydney turned back to Abu Dhabi shortly after takeoff as the result of a problem with the Boeing 777-300’s left engine.
The plane, with 329 passengers on board, took off from runway 13R and climbed to 4000 feet when the crew encountered issues with the engine. They returned to runway 13L, and stopped at the end of the runway for inspection to ensure it was safe to allow passengers to disembark.
