Star Alliance member SAS has $99 one-ways from Miami to Copenhagen and Oslo. This should be bookable on any online travel website.
United Opens Business Class Award Floodgates for Summer, Book Now
In general the best award availability to Europe on United’s flights has long been to Brussels and to a certain extent Amsterdam.
In fact, there’s widespread availability to and from both Brussels and Amsterdam from multiple United gateways for 4 or more passengers in business class next summer. And there are other routes where availability is great, as well.

Give Yourself a Boost: United Offering Targeted Elite Status Buy Ups
United is making targeted offers to let customers buy qualifying miles and segments towards elite status. I just received one.
I’m not going to take them up on this. I should earn Premier Silver naturally, and would have to make an effort to reach Gold. Frankly I’m not looking forward to United status…
Some Hotels Don’t Change the Sheets Between Guests
There’s absolutely no question that brand standards require changing bed sheets between guests. Usually the ‘worry’ at some hotels is comforters, not sheets. And health rules will generally require it also.
Rooms frequently aren’t spotless, and I’m a bit of a germaphobe, I try not to think about the TV remote.
Sharing Citi ThankYou Points Now Capped at 100,000 Per Year
There’s a new limitation on sharing Citi ThankYou points, moving them from one person’s account to another — up to 100,000 points per year.
This is not a limit on combining points in your own different accounts. It’s a limit on transferring points to other people. The ability to transfer points to anyone you wish though, even limited to 100,000 points per year, remains an underappreciated benefit that’s not matched by other card issuers.
An Advanced Way to Find the Cheapest Airline Tickets
Yesterday I encountered what seemed like a pretty strange phenomenon. There was a roundtrip United fare between Chicago and London for under $600.
There was a mystery because some systems showed it available for Saturday departures only, and other systems showed it every day. And Momondo was finding even cheaper fares, still.
Why all the discrepancy? And how can you use that to your advantage to find the cheapest fares yourself?

Very Strange Cheap United Fare to London, and Even Cheaper Deal From New York
There’s a $529 roundtrip fare between Chicago and London on United with travel available October, November, and January through March. They actually mention prices “as low as $412” but I haven’t found anything sub-$500 on United between these two cities.
There’s even cheaper fares out of New York – $361. And both of these fares illustrate interesting ways that airfare booking seems to be changing.
