3 Free Nights at Loama Resort, Maldives

Regular readers know that I love the Maldives. I’ve been 5 years in a row. It’s the only place I’ve found where I can really unplug. The distance is a feature not a bug, by the time I get there I’m really ready to relax and the time difference helps me to do it — I can answer work emails in the morning, and everyone is gone from the office the rest of the day so I can just enjoy myself.

I’ve gone to the same place each time, because I could use points, but there are some fantastic properties that I’d love to try some day. One that’s really worth checking out is Loama Resort.

Delta’s CEO: Thanks to Donald Trump, We May Be Able to Stop US Passengers Traveling on Mideast Airlines

Recognizing that their argument for protectionism — having the US government stop consumers from buying tickets on Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar instead of more expensive tickets on Delta — went nowhere, Delta’s CEO wants to try again after the election and thinks he’ll have a better chance thanks to the direction Donald Trump has tried to move the country.

BUSINESS CLASS SALE: New York – Paris Just $1395 Roundtrip!

When all business class airline La Compagnie announced its launch two years ago I was skeptical to say the least. The founders had tried their hand at this before, and got bailed out by a sale to British Airways (their first attempt is now OpenSkies).

If the founders of the airline want to light money on fire, we might as well at least use it to keep us warm. Right now they’re advertising a fall sale for $1400 roundtrip between the US and Paris.
