A former Delta pilot was reportedly stalking a woman headed to pilot training in Atlanta. They were traveling on board Delta flight 2835, and she was concerned enough for her safety that the flight’s captain reported this to dispatch during the trip, and was requesting assistance and an escort for the woman who was going to stay on board initially during deplaning.

American Airlines is eliminating Flagship First Class on these Boeing 777-300ERs, and introducing business class suites with doors as well (and also on new delivery Boeing 787-9s). That project is delayed, so I wonder whether the ‘imminent’ replacement of seats is what leads to a more haphazard approach to cabin maintenance.

‘This Is What $110 Gets You’: How Hotels Turned Room Service Into A Joke

Proper room service is dying and that’s horrible. Many hotels dropped it entirely. Twelve years ago the Hilton New York eliminated it, the largest hotel at the time to do so. That saved them 55 positions (!) and they argued they had a grab and go market so you could still easily get food on property. Transferring the burden to the guest to go for the food, wait for it, and return to their room is not the same thing.
