Next Week Delta Starts Serving Cocktails In A Can
United Airlines sells the pre-mixed Knob Creek Old Fashioned by On The Rocks Cocktails ($12) but I think what’s striking here is the can.
The packaging feels low-end, and is reminiscent of when Spirit Airlines used to sell wine in a can.
An Employee Enforced The American Airlines Dress Code. Then The Backlash Came.
A two-time cancer survivor attempted to board an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Charlotte, but was told she wouldn’t be able to fly unless she covered up her yellow hoodie which said “F- cancer.”
An employee enforced the airline’s dress code. The airline is apologizing – saying the employee should have taken context into account. But each employee is likely to see context differently.
When Will We Be Able To Fly Again Without Wearing Masks?
Politicians will want to claim credit for victory over the pandemic. And once the Secretary of HHS declares this, the way the CDC’s mask rule is written that triggers a sunset. Let’s look at the actual rule’s language for how long it lasts,
Malta Will Pay Tourists To Visit This Summer
Malta is giving a new reason to visit: a payment to tourists of up to $261 to encourage the trip, provided hotel accommodations are booked direct.

American Airlines used to have espresso machines on board Boeing 777, 787, and Airbus A321T aircraft. They don’t anymore. The airline has removed the machines from these aircraft, a spokesperson confirms to me, “to help conserve fuel and prevent confusion about what services are currently offered.”
Old IHG Rewards Prices Are Back, Devaluation Reversed At Least For Now?
Earlier in the week IHG Rewards seemed to devalue their points raising the cost of many properties without notice. Indeed, 100,000 points was no longer the most you’d pay for an Intercontinental and it became possible to spend as much as 79,000 points for a single Holiday Inn room night.
Right now prices, in some cases, appear back to where they were before the devaluation.
Lufthansa Business Lounge At Washington Dulles Airport Now Part Of Priority Pass
The Lufthansa business class lounge at Washington Dulles is now part of Priority Pass. That’s a great new option in the airport.
There are already other lounges on the B concourse that are part of the program, like the Turkish Airlines lounge, but in normal times that gets so crowded they cut off Priority Pass access. Another lounge should help equalize the traffic and make it possible to get into your preferred location.
