Southwest is offering 40% off paid and award flights booked by June 15 for travel August 15 – December 14, 2023 using promo code 40OFF.

  • Blackout days November 16 – 27
  • Valid for ‘Wanna Get Away’ and ‘Wanna get Away Plus’ but not refundable fare types

If you have any travel on Southwest even potentially, it’s a great opportunity to book a redemption, since those are fully refundable anyway.

And there’s a good shot at a schedule change six months from now – so you might even book a less expensive ticket and get re-accommodated on a more expensive flight later.

Should you already have travel on Southwest booked it’s a great opportunity to reprice your tickets to see whether you can get credit back as well.

  4. I just booked two Southwest flights last night for $129 each. Came back today to rebook with the “40% discount” code and including the “discount” one of them is $149 and the other is $127

  5. Had a ticket booked (MKE-LAS) & return with companion. Rebooked – points required went from 15,834 to 9,501, each way. WOW
