- Papa John’s overhauls loyalty program. Here’s an American Airlines pilot bringing 40 Papa John’s pizzas to diverted passengers. No word on whether he collected points.
- Marriott faces class action lawsuit over data breach, actual news would be if there wasn’t going to be a lawsuit. It turns out that your data isn’t worth very much when you try to go sell it.

- Gulf Air is hiring inflight chefs. Many customers know about Etihad’s inflight chefs in first class, flight attendants with culinary experience. Former Etihad CEO James Hogan had been CEO of Gulf Air, and before that put inflight chefs in business class on british midland.
Gulf Air is also currently looking for so-called ‘Sky Chefs’ for its Business Class service. Candidates will need a formal qualification in culinary arts along with at least three-years kitchen experience. Gulf Air is accepting applications from both male and female candidates who must be aged between 25-40 years old.
So Papa johns changed their program back in early December….sometime between the 10th and 16th. You are reporting on it on January 14th. I would have guessed you were a huge pizza fan…
