I’d say that the hotel’s decor and interiors feels somewhat dated and my room felt very much like a Hyatt Regency that could have been anyway. The bed was good and blackout shades excellent.

But given the beachfront location and that the room was large, plus good food and overall pleasant ambiance I’m not sure I’d rate any Hyatt Regency other than the property in Danang more highly?

Olympics Under Threat: Paris Airport Strikes To Cause Travel Havoc As Workers Demand Bonuses To Show Up

Surprising absolutely no one, Paris airport worker unions have announced a strike to begin days before the Summer Olympics there. Starting July 17, these strikes come in advance of the July 26 Olympics start date, and demand an “Olympics bonus” for all workers from the government-controlled company that operates both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

Hyatt’s Michelin-Starred Scandal In France: Celebrity Chef Fired Over Naked Hazing Incident

Michelin-starred celebrity chef Aurélien Largeau, of La Table d’Aurélien Largeau at Hyatt’s Hôtel du Palais Biarritz in southwest France, has been fired after video spread online of hazing in his kitchen. A junior member of the kitchen staff (commis) was “tied to a chair naked for hours with an apple in his mouth and a carrot in his anus with all the chefs – known as the kitchen brigade – looking on, including Largeau.”

Heading To France? Tourists Need A Vaccine Passport

Since Monday, all international travelers seeking access to restaurants, bars, hospitals, large shopping centers, museums, theaters, sports and amusement parks and more – even common areas of hotels – have to show their passport. (Essential bakeries are excluded from the requirement, because access to baguettes and croissants are basic human rights.) It’s really simple to get, and can be used across Europe.

Although the man’s employer argued that he wasn’t “carrying out professional duties” when he had the cardiac arrest in the woman’s hotel room, under French law “an employer is responsible for any accident occurring during a business trip.”
