The Delta flight to New York JFK was hit between two taxiways as the Aeromexico plane’s wing tip impacted Delta’s horizontal stabilizer. The two aircraft returned to their gates, with both aircraft taken out of service.

Hyatt Starts Cancelling Mistake Rate – After Waiting 3 Weeks
I’d have been fine with the reservations being cancelled within a few days of bookings, and not several weeks after those reservations have been made. Simply cancelling reservations after this much time without further accommodation is unacceptable. At a minimum offer a discount rate at the hotel for a standard room or suite, or some points by way of apology – and find a way to address costs that customers are actually incurring as a result of the property’s long wait to decide to cancel the bookings.

It seems that what is happening is that the points upgrade rate – 6000 points on top of the rate for an eligible room – is pricing at $39 perhaps instead of $390. And it’s bookable from when the hotel opens in January through the end of Hyatt’s booking window late next year.
Second Time In Days, Plane Has To Abort Landing Because Another Plane Was On Mexico City Runway
This keeps happening at the Mexico City airport, described in the media as “panic over Mexico’s air safety” as Aeromexico flight 762 from Bogota had to abort its landing on Wednesday.
Mexico’s airspace navigation service director resigned over this past weekend’s Volaris incident. The Aeromexico incident seems more common if indeed it’s attributable to a slower than expected moving aircraft, and there don’t seem to be allegations that air traffic control handled the situation improperly.
