A federal appeals court struck down Westchester County’s attempt to block by-the-seat private jet flights, a ruling that signals other cities can’t use local airport rules to keep out public access.
Teterboro, 12 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan, is the primary private jet airport in the region. It has two runways, with runway 1/19 7,000 feet.
