United Airlines Is Now Teaching Passengers How To Use Overhead Bins

Unfortunately larger bins aren’t a panacea. Even where bins are in theory large enough to accommodate a full sized carry on bag per passenger, that requires turning carry on bags on their side, and too many passengers don’t know to do this.

Now, United Airlines has a solution. They’re trying to teach passengers how to use overhead bins properly, to get the most bags in.

Florida Man’s Lavatory Trip Erupts Into Violence, Leaving United Passenger Bloodied On D.C.-Bound Flight

44-year-old Everett Chad Nelson, seated at the rear of the plane, left his seat to use a forward lavatory on the Boeing 737 MAX 9. Upon coming out of the bathroom, he paused near seat 12F, where an unsuspecting male passenger was asleep. Without warning, he launched into a minute-long attack. Witnesses describe Nelson repeatedly punching the man in the face and head, causing significant injury and leaving the immediate area covered in blood.

‘I Don’t Want To Sit With Them’: Husband Chooses United Airlines Back Row After Wife And Baby Self-Upgrade For Extra Legroom

A woman with her toddler came over and plopped themselves down in that middle seat. She explained that she didn’t have enough space in the middle seat she’d been in further back in the aircraft – so she self-upgraded to “economy plus” extra legroom seats.

That way, she said, she’d be “more comfortable” with her kid – while her husband remained in an aisle seat farther back.
