  1. AirAsia tried to get me to pay for a bottle water while refusing me a cup of water. The second flight attendant did get me a cup of water after I told him that it was to take with medicine. With that, I was able to wash my medicine down.

  2. @jns … and then , the water in the cup of water gave you what ailment , which you might have avoided with the bottle of water ?

Never overestimate the purity of a cup of water or ice ?

  3. @Alert, I didn’t get any ailment from the water but your point is taken and it might be a good idea to carry one of those backpacking filter straws. I rarely get really sick in Southeast Asia and when I do I can usually blame it on vegetables, especially leafy vegetables that aren’t cooked. Vinegar can be your friend with those while washing them but you don’t always have that chance.

  4. Look at that hood rat at the baggage claim. She’s exactly what’s wrong with this country. Somebody should’ve given her a beat down to remember

  5. Porter Airlines voluntarily bumped the 14 year old passenger because it’s incomplete procedure didn’t include obtaining her age. Definitely a misstep on their part. Cash or voucher compensation should have also been given for food and a room to stay in.

  6. Thousands of fish? Oh the horror. Hundreds of millions of fish are killed daily for human consumption, but yeah, your rounding error is a tragedy.
    Anything for faux leftist outrage.

  7. Sad to hear about Silvercar, I used them a lot when they were available for airport pickup. When they shifted to offsite locations, I wasn’t going to be adding all that additional time to go to an Audi dealership pick one up though.

  8. I tried using Silvercar in Florida, SoCal, and the D.C. area about 5 times total. They were always sold out or unavailable. I’m not familiar with the program rules but I imagine the dealers started reserving them for their own service loaners. Not a well executed program.
