Last month an Alaska Airlines a passenger brought their own booze onboard, drank it, and screamed “we’re all gonna die!” This was deemed a customer service issue. (Just like with their frequent flyer program, they do things a little differently up in Seattle.)
Because a mere few weeks later, another drunk passenger forced an Alaska Airlines diversion.
Alaska Airlines flight AS800 from Sacramento to Seattle on Monday diverted to Portland to offload the passenger in row 9.
After about an hour on the ground the flight continued to Seattle.
This delay was worth a $100 credit towards future travel for passengers.
I guess my question, then, is what’s a drunk Alaska Airlines flight attendant worth in compensation?
