The only real value I’ve ever gotten from ‘ThanksAgain’ is earning miles at brick and mortar retailers when I didn’t expect it.
When they first began they had a ton of dry cleaners in their portfolio. More recently they’ve focused on signing up the majority of merchants at several airports. Pay with your registered credit card, accumulate points for the purchase.
You can set up different accounts, and link different credit cards to each. I’ve also used ThanksAgain in the past to earn ‘partner credit’ in airline promotions rewarding transactions with a certain number of partners.
I would never choose to earn Hilton HHonors points via ThanksAgain, the normal earning rate of 2 points per dollar doesn’t make up for the low value of a single HHonors point.
However through December 31 they’re offering 200 Hilton HHonors points just for signing up and 10,000 bonus points after $1,000 or more in spend during the quarter.
