A week ago the world learned about one of the worst airline passengers any of us has ever come across, a man who flies to Asia and consistently asks for help in the bathroom — help that he may not actually have needed.
The passenger boarded his EVA Air flight in a wheelchair. He told flight attendants that his hand was broken and needed help going to the bathroom. Once inside he pressed the assistance button. His underwear was halfway down and he asked for help getting it down the rest of the way. The flight attendant was pushed to “wipe his bottom.” The passenger, not satisfied with the job she was doing, “kept saying ‘deeper, deeper!'” It turns out when he arrived in Asia he managed to use the restroom without assistance.

He was blacklisted by the airline but reports are he purchased another ticket anyway — circumventing the blacklist with a slight adjustment to his name. Supposedly he added ‘a blank space in his name’ but I don’t think that would do it.
The man’s leaked itinerary includes Eva Air Flight BR212, which departs from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 12:20 on May 17 and arrives at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) at 5 p.m. Next, he is slated to board Flight BR12 at 7 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles (LAX) airport at 4 p.m.
I’m skeptical. The man was subject to worldwide scrutiny. He presumably knew about his ban. Why not just book on another airline? Why not wait until the dust settles for May travel?
If he’s really booked on EVA Air perhaps this was another flight, book before the ban, since it’s months into the future?
And if this is in fact the individual’s itinerary, and it’s known, given the ban no doubt EVA Air will not allow him to travel at that time.

The crew melt down upon hearing this
This guy is a disgusting pig who should be banned. If everything in the story is true (like being able to use the bathroom unaided at the airport), then he is obviously a pervert trying to get some free play before he gets to Thailand. If he did indeed employ some trickery and managed to buy a ticket, I’d revoke the ticket, turn him away at check-in or – failing that – the gate. I think airlines and crew put up with too much crap these days. Asking a flight attendant to wipe your ass is way over the line. That’s not enough, so he complains about the manner in which this little favor is carried out. Unbelievable.
Does anybody know why airlines don’t ban more people? People who cause expensive diversions, get mouthy with the crew or refuse to follow legitimate instructions, people bothering others (in some cases, molesting others), etc. You don’t often hear about these people being banned. They face legal consequences, yes, and often pay a fine or restitution but not banned. I think if the airlines started banning more people and stories of these “examples” get out, there would be fewer problems.
He obviously “gets off” on all this so of course he’s going to try again
I’m guessing that this sicko hasn’t attempted this on a US3 domestic carrier. Probably get tased for asking.
One case where all airlines should enforce lifetime ban . Why is this person’s name not public ?
