Bask Bank is known for its Mileage Savings Account which awards American AAdvantage miles rather than interest – the math on this works out especially well in what’s still a low-interest rate environment.

They’ve also launched a Bask Interest Savings Account and they’ve just raised the interest rate (APY) by 56% after the recent Fed meeting.

New American Airlines Snack Box For Customers During Long Delays

Airlines used to regularly hand out meal vouchers during flight delays. When it was their fault, they’d cover food costs for passengers and that was expensive.

About 8 years ago, after being taken over by US Airways, American Airlines came up with a solution to save money. They’d roll out carts of snacks to gates on long delays instead of giving customers meal vouchers.

Man Rents Out His Tesla On Turo, Discovers It Taken Apart At A Warehouse

Turo renters: Tesla owners can track their vehicle via app, and the car has a camera. The camera showed the owner that something wasn’t right, so he tracked it via app to… a warehouse.

The Tesla was up “on jacks and missing its front bumper.” The owner thought the man was trying to steal parts, but it turns out the rented Tesla was being used as a test vehicle for fitting an aftermarket bumper. The man who rented the car sells Tesla (and other car) parts online.

When You Fly American Airlines To New York JFK, Many Of You Can Get A Free Meal

Bobby Van’s is one of the better airport restaurants in the Priority Pass program. While you’re supposed to have a same day boarding pass to enter, that still lets you eat there both on arrival in New York and on departure as well.

In my experience they don’t actually check boarding passes, just swipe your card. If I were an American Airlines crewmember based in New York I’d definitely get a credit card that offers unlimited Priority Pass visits (not from American Express, which doesn’t cover restaurant visits).
