Earn American Airlines Status Credits With Uber

If you’ll pay for up to 4 Uber charges using a Mastercard you can earn American Airlines redeemable miles and loyalty (elite qualifying) points for the transactions.

That’s because,

  • SimplyMiles has an offer to earn miles (which count towards elite status), which you can register for.
  • You must pay with a linked-Mastercard for the transactions to register

Get 465 AA Miles on any Uber trip purchased through the Uber app. Expires 5/31/2022. Offer excludes taxes and fees. Not valid with other offers. Offer may be redeemed up to four (4) times per person. Subject to change or cancellation.

Four transactions with Uber will earn 1860 loyalty points, which is 6% of elite status. And you may be able to stack that with a statement credit, too.

Miles Earn and Burn flags $10 statement credits on each of Uber and Uber Eats which both can be used four times through end of April through Citi Offers. Only some Citi card products receive these offers, so check your accounts.

You also earn Marriott points on premium Uber rides and with Uber Eats, and that’s not credit card-linked so you can earn with Marriott and American at the same time under this offer.

  1. I got 465 miles on 2 rides of 10 bucks or more, as well as 500 miles on Uber Eats of $25 or more (can use twice).

  8. I registered for Simply Miles and don’t see it as an Offer. Is it somewhere other than the main page or did I miss it?

  9. FYI- only Uber XL, Comfort, Uber Black & SUV trip requests qualify for Marriott Bonvoy points. (any UberEats is fine and qualifies)
