The title reminds me of a ’60s Comix cartoon book panel where a fellow is reading the newspaper. The headline is, “World War III Starts Today,” the lead below it starts, ‘”About time”, says commentator.’ Believe me, global air traffic would be the least of our concerns.

@Robert and @Chad. I think by now we all now that the person behind Gene has been suffering from a severe case Trump Derangement Syndrome. I hoped that he would get better as President Trump is out of office, but I can see it is not happening. He is so self absorbed, but spews hatred every time he decides to comment on something, whether here or on Lucky’s OMAAT. His comments has no relevance at all. I now just do not even read his comments, just look at the other comments. Rest assured I will not read his response – just wanted to let you both know that it is impossible to reason with him.
I just want to know what airline the flight attendant flew for that only managed to get recognition (in the form of a crown of snack mix) from Southwest.

And on the bright side, a nuclear winter would solve global warming.
Remember when the entire state of Hawaii freaked out because some hawaiian government official with Trump Derangement Syndrome sent an emergency text to the whole state warning of nuclear attack from North Korea? Lol. Now we have real threat from both russia and north korea and hawaii will still vote for dems and biden by a landslide???
The threat to global aviation is a serious one, and something needs to be done about the insurance policies.
There are two possible outcomes if Russia uses a tactical nuclear weapon- either an all-out nuclear war, or a conventional response. If the former happens, who cares about insurance payouts- we’re all probably dead.
But if the latter happens, perhaps fighting is still confined to the Ukraine. But without insurance, all air flights worldwide and all air cargo will shut shut down. It’s going to crater world trade and economies. So they need to work something out now, just in case there’s a limited nuclear conflict- the language on those contracts are out of date.
